we pray the hail mary every week for deacon Bosse and sister philomena. they are studying to become a priest and sister.
We have been learning about weather and the water cycle in science. we “made it rain” by adding drops of water to a shaving cream cloud. we watched the drops collect in the cloud until they dropped into rain.
WE HAVE BEEN CLOSELY WATCHING THE WATER IN OUR WATER CYCLE EXPERIMENT EVAPORATE, CONDENSE, AND RETURN TO THE COLLECTION POOL AS PRECIPITATION.

we read "wodney wat" and glued sequencing pictures onto our wodney wat hats.

We read the book "Roses are Pink, Your Feet Really Stink" by Diane deGroat. In this book, we learned the power of forgiveness and that our words really do matter. In the spirit of the book, valentines were brought to school and placed into every classmate's homemade valentine box. What a fun way to learn the virtue of kindness!

It was a beautiful day to play outside... in our apple printed shirts!
We heard the story of "Johnny Appleseed" and made Johnny Appleseed hats.
We read "Ten Apples Up on Top" and then glued ten paper apples upon a photo of our heads. We checked to make sure that we had ten apples by writing numbers upon each apple.
