SNACK GUIDELINES
Children are asked to bring their own snack. Please send the snack separately from their lunch. The snack should be easily opened by your child. AGAIN..... Please send your child's snack to school in a container that is SEPARATE from their lunch box i.e. paper bags or a small reusable container. Children are asked to remove their snack from their lunchbox or backpack when they arrive to school. Please save items that must be kept cold for their lunch and not snack. Snacks are stored in a plastic tote box with no refrigerated option.
We have one of our friends with an egg allergy, so please do not send hard boiled eggs to school for snack or lunch. Please ensure that your child has a healthy snack. Chips, cookies, packaged cupcakes, and candy are discouraged. Raw veggies/dip and fresh pieces of cut-up fruit are acceptable as long as they are placed in disposable containers.
Send your child's lunch to school in a lunch box. If you wish for your child to drink milk at lunch, tickets can be purchased through the school office OR send money to school with your child, we will purchase the tickets for you, and send them home in your child's backpack.

WATER BOTTLE GUIDELINES
Please send a water bottle to school with your child everyday. Water bottles must be small enough to fit inside a cubby divider or a designated area on the side of a desk. Make sure that the lid is secured tightly to eliminate accidental spills. Your child should be able to open and close the lid with confidence.

May my child bring a birthday treat to school?
Yes, your child may bring a birthday treat to school. I do ask, though, that you do not send any type of cupcake unless they are commercially wrapped i.e. Little Debbie cupcakes. Ooey gooey cupcakes with lots of icing are difficult to pass out and messy to clean up. If you can, please contact me a few days ahead of time to let me know what you are bringing. Thank you!
Treats do not necessarily have to be food items. Non-food items such as pencils or stickers are fun, too. Your child will receive a paper crown, a birthday sticker, and a small gift from me on his/her birthday.
